Dr. Daniel S. Haddad is a board-certified ophthalmologist and the founder of the Laser Eye Institute, Michigan’s leading center for laser vision correction. With over 30 years of experience in the field, Dr. Haddad has performed more than 100,000 vision correcting procedures and is recognized as one of the most experienced LASIK and SMILE surgeons in the country.

Always at the forefront of research and technology, Dr. Haddad is well respected in his field and recognized as a leader in vision correction. A native New Yorker, received his medical degree from New York Medical College in 1983. Upon completion of his specialty training at Wayne State University’s Kresge Eye Institute and ophthalmology board certification, he decided to stay in the area and raise his family of four in Metro-Detroit, where he founded the Laser Eye Institute in 1987. His vision for the Laser Eye Institute is to not only to improve the life and vision of each patient.
